It is the weekend....Friday at 10 pm and i am in bed....love the feeling of the whole weekend ahead of me...planning to get the guzzi back from san francisco this weekend....

President's day. Took the day off to be with Gaya. The two of us with Ajay and family went for a hike in the afternoon in Steven Canyon Park.

Sick today...cold and flu...did not go in to work...but spent 3 hours in conference calls...

Ran after almost a week and a half....downtown was packed when I was done and returning home...valet parking had taken over big basin north of 4th street...
Spoke with Marty...he will be down here most of march...house sitting for julia and pursuing start-up opportunities...

Germany in February was not cold at all. almost the same temperature as here...the car rental agency gave me a big American Chrysler station wagon...which was a little too big for the tiny parking spots.....they had assumed I wanted automatic transmission without asking...the 911 would be nice on the drive from Frankfurt to Heidelberg....
Long and tiring work days followed by nice dinners at good restaurants in the old town area of Heidelberg...uneventful flight back..good to be home...

Hectic Saturday...Marty may be coming down next week...changed sheets in guest bedroom...keys to colleague in office for Marty to collect...Friday spent getting materials ready for business trip to Germany..Today laundry and pack..science project with Gaya...

Ran again tonight...7 am call tomorrow...time for bed...

Went for a run last night. Downtown to the Saratoga Library and back. Must do this 3 to 4 times a week. Had trouble sleeping last night, ignored alarm at 5 am, and at 6.30, still in bed, realized had a video conference at 7 am. From bed to car to work at Palo Alto...Luckily there is a gym with a shower at work...Drove the 911...early mornings on I280 are enjoyable..

in meetings and conference calls during the morning...spent the afternoon reading Gartner and Forrester reports...marketing is supposed to be fun, no?
can i have my programming job back? please?
